This untitled game started as an idea for a month-long Metroidvania Game Jam and turned into a longer term, experimental passion project. I’ve taken advantage of the openness of this project to play around with some different art styles and techniques and to continue to improve my understanding of Unity. I’ve had an opportunity to try out various aspects of the development process through this project, including crafting a rich world and characters with interesting stories, map creation and level design, some UI design, the creation of custom visual effects and shader graphs, sprite shapes for organic level design, and so much more.
